The Pivot

From a community brain feed to an
award-winning safety tool.

A Last-Minute Pivot

Sentry wasn't the original plan. Initially, I was building a real-time "community brain" feed. But as the hackathon progressed, I realized a much more pressing problem: campus safety and emergency response. I decided to pivot entirely. I redesigned and rebuilt the entire platform in just one night, leveraging Google DeepMind's Gemma 4 for intelligent incident triage. The result was a first-place finish at the Build with Gemma: GenAI for SDGs hackathon.

Interface

Engineered for Reliability

The Sentry dashboard offers a clear, dark-mode-first aesthetic for security personnel, combining AI intelligence with rapid response workflows.
